About Purple Art

Purple Art was created to help the artist keep the rewards for their work.

The average Art Gallery will take between 25%-50% of any artwork sold

plus a one-off fee to use the room of about Ł100-Ł200 per week.

The majority of artists only actually produce their work in their spare time,

when they are not working another job.

Purple Art is a co-operative by the artists, for the artists and they contribute

5% of their income to help towards the costs of running the co-operative.

Purple Art is always on the lookout for new talent, we are seeking artists from

Nottinghamshire, UK especially (though not exclusively).
